Sherri Eckert was born and raised in Sacramento, California before relocating to Austin, Texas about 16 years ago. After working in the real estate industry with home builders as a sales manager in the Austin market Sherri was approached by a Texas based mortgage company to become a mortgage originator in 2010. She decided that she loves the business. Within this company Sherri was approached again in 2013 by a team who was ranked #1 in the Austin Business journal from 2012-2015, this team was also ranked a top originator in the Scotsman guide 2009 – 2014 and the recipient of many other awards. Sherri quickly learned from being a part of this team what clients like and don’t like. “Clients want a good experience but also want a good product with great rates. If you can offer a great experience but ultimately have a higher rate the client pays for that for the life of the loan. This experience has shaped what I can offer today at Thrive Mortgage. I am experienced in FHA, Conventional, Jumbo, VA, USDA, Investor, first time home buyers and refinances. I believe that what makes a person successful is to find something that you love to do and then offer it to others. Clients always tell me that I am very personable and easy to talk to which makes them feel comfortable in the loan process. Each client situation requires a personalized approach.” In her spare time, she enjoys gathering and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys interior design, clothing design, time outdoors biking and exercising.
